A two-storey Mosque with a 4,500-person praying capacity, this was a gift of His Majesty The Sultan of Brunei to his people. There are 29 golden domes representing His Majesty’s position as the 29th ruler of his dynasty, and together with the mosque’s four minarets, fountains, stained glass, and interiors all adorned with motifs based on Islamic geometric patterns, the Sultan’s Mosque is firmly established as a major landmark in Brunei Darussalam.
